안녕하세요,
저희 K Group에서 작년에 이어 올해에도 야외 바베큐를 준비하고 있습니다. 야외 바베큐는 1년에 한번 야외에서 하는 캐쥬얼 네트워킹의 기회로 운동도 하고 바베큐도 즐기면서 진행하는 자유스러운 회원들간의 만남의 공간입니다.
일시: 10월 11일 토요일 오전 10시 ~오후 3:30
장소: Bayland Park, Sunnyvale (Lawrence and 237)
Baybreeze #1 and #2 picnic area (들어오면 우회전, 두번째 피크닉 장소)
참가비: $15 (가족등 동반자의 경우 성인당 추가 $15, 어린아이는 무료)
대학생/대학원생 회원 및 동반자 $10
주차요령: 당일 오전 9시이후엔 파크 주차료를 $5 내야합니다. 주차료를 안내시고자 하면 파크 건너편 (로렌스 엑스프레스에서 파크로 우회전하지 마시고 좌회전 하시면 보이는 주차공간)에 주차하시고 길건너 걸어오시면 됩니다.
$5을 내시고 출입하시게 되면 들어오자마자 우회전하여 보이는 큰 주차장에 주차하시고 피크닉장소로 걸어오시면 됩니다.
두가지 경우 모두 안내 팻말을 사용하여 안내해 드리겠습니다. 걸어오시는길은 큰 나무사이의 오솔길 이므로 조금만 따라오시면 오른쪽에 피크닉 장소를 쉽게 찾으실 수 있습니다.
올해의 바베큐는 작년에 이어 서브그룹 대항 혼성 배구 (6인)와 왼손으로 하는 혼성 피구경기(6인)로 시작합니다. 작년에 B Group이 우승했었던가요?
점심 바베큐는 맛있는 엘에이 갈비와 한식으로 정성껏 준비할 예정입니다.
식사후에는 누구나 참가할 수 있는 재미있을 게임들을 마련했습니다. OX 퀴즈 게임, 빙고게임, Sumo 씨름 ()을 통해 푸짐한 상품을 가지고 갈 수 있습니다. 특히 Google, Symantec, Microsoft, Apple 등에서 만만치 않은 상품과 경품들을 준비해 두었습니다.
그리고 올해도 새롭게 디자인된 멋진 티셔츠를 받아가실 기회도 준비되어 있고 Raffle Ticket을 통해 경품 추첨도 있습니다.
또 언제나 저희 K Group을 지도해 주시고 조언해주시는 후원자분들도 참석하실 예정입니다.
아무쪼록 많이 오셔서 가을의 여유도 만끽하시고 Bayland Park에서 좋은 추억을 만들었으면 합니다.
반드시 참석여부 (Pls RSVP here)를 꼭 알려주시고, 가능하면 다음주 수요일 까지는 알려주세요.

Dear K Group Members,
It is a great pleasure to announce our fall gathering. We will have an outdoor BBQ and sports activity.
We'd like to enjoy the valley's fall weather and take advantage of open space to mingle with more people.
As the number of members reaches over 700, we cordially invite you to join our BBQ lunch to meet people while having fun. You will meet many other renowned members also!
Here are the details;
- Date: Oct /11 (Sat) 2008 10am ~ 3:30pm
- Location: Bayland Park, Sunnyvale (Lawrence and 237)
Baybreeze #1 and #2 picnic area (Turn right after entrance, then go to the end)
* Parking Fee: The park charges $5 for entrance between 9am~4pm. You can avoid by using parking lot across the park (make left instead of right into the park)
Then you can walk accross the street into the park. If you are paying, park the car on the parking lot you find when you make a right turn after paying fee.
Follow the dirt road alongside the tall trees and you will find Baybreeze on your right.
- Activities: Volleyball and Dodgeball PLUS a lot of games that will lead to wonderful prizes from Google, Microsoft, Apple, etc. Don't forget the raffle tickets!
- Fee: $15 for Regular members, $10 for student members, $15 for additional adult participants who attend w/ a K Group member (i.e family)
- BBQ pit: L.A Kalbi, Korean dishes, Drinks, etc.
