대한민국 국립국제교육원은 외국인 대학원 장학생에게 고등교육기관에서 수학할 기회를 부여함으로써

국제교류촉진 및 국가간 우호증진을 도모하려는 목적으로 “대한민국 정부초청 외국인 장학생 모집” 프로그램을

매년 운영하고 있으며 올해에는 전세계 총 350명의 외국인 장학생을 모집하고 있습니다.

이 프로그램의 일환으로 저희 통일부는 한반도 문제에 관심이 높은 외국인 장학생을 추천,

국내 한반도 문제 관련 석박사 과정에 입학·수학하도록 지원하고자 합니다.

지원 자격은 한국 국적이 아닌 외국인으로 부모님 또한 한국인이 아닌 외국 국적을 가지고 있어야 합니다.

주변에 남북관계 또는 국내 한반도 문제에 관심이 있는 외국인 친구들에게

많은 홍보 부탁드립니다.

Under the Korean Government Scholarship Program for International Graduate Students, the Ministry of Unification

would like to select sudents with U.S. citizenship who are keenly interested in studyin inter-Korea relations or

issues regarding reunification of the Korean peninsula and offer them scholarships to obtain a master's or doctoral degree in the field.

On behalf of the Ministry, I would like to request you to recommend outstanding students who have interests in pursuing a graduate degree

in one of universities in Seoul.
