As some of you already knows, Yong-Kyung Lee (Berkeley alumnus), President and CEO of Korea Telecom (KT), is going to come to Berkeley next Friday and would like to meet Korean graduate students. To RSVP for the reception, see below:

Dean Richard Newton of the College of Engineering cordially invites you to

join him at a reception for Yong-Kyung "Ken" Lee, on Friday, September 12,

from 5:00 - 6:30 pm in the Women's Faculty Club Lounge on the Berkeley

campus.  Wine and hors d'oeuvres will be served.



Ken Lee is a 1975 graduate of Berkeley's PhD program in electrical

engineering and computer sciences.  He is now President and CEO of Korea

Telecom (KT), a $16 billion corporation and a world leader in the domestic

high-speed Internet service market.  Dr. Lee is visiting Berkeley to accept

a Distinguished Engineering Alumnus Award for 2003, and would be most

honored to meet with Berkeley's community of Korean and Korean-American

scholars during his visit.  More information about Dr. Lee and KT may be
