융합기술 창업지원기관 TIDE Institute에서 10월 21일~23일에 걸쳐 Bay Area의 한인들을 대상으로 주말 창업 행사 Startup Springboard @ Silicon Valley( http://www.tideinstitute.org/events/2 )를 진행합니다. 행사에 참석하시는 것을 통해 창업을 체험하고 창업에 대한 이해를 높일 수 있음과 동시에 좋은 사람들과 많이 만나 친분을 쌓을 수 있는 좋은 기회가 될 것이라 생각됩니다. Startup Springboard @ Silicon Valley
Oct. 21-23, 2011

Startup Springboard - Silicon Valley는 기술자, 개발자, 디자이너 그리고 창업자들이 함께 모여 아이디어를 공유하고, 팀을 이루어 프로토타입을 만들고 Startup을 시작하는 2박3일의 이벤트 입니다. 참자자들은 행사를 통해 스타트업을 시작하는 것이 무엇인지에 대한 직접 경험과 자신의 창업 아이템이 실현 가능한지 테스트 해 볼 수 있는 기회를 갖게 됩니다. 

행사는 금요일 저녁의 아이디어 피치로 시작되며 그 중 참가자들의 표를 많이 얻은 아이디어들을 중심으로 팀을 구성합니다. 다음 이틀 동안 각 팀은 최소한으로 가능한 제품을 개발, 제작하고 자신들의 아이디어를 검증하며 고객 조사를 진행합니다. 

일요일 저녁 각 팀들은 자신의 프로토타입을 전문가와 투자자들로 이루어진 그룹 앞에서 발표하고 소중한 피드백을 받습니다. 

본 이벤트는 창업에 관심이 있는 사람들 모두에게 열려 있습니다. 

이번 행사의 마지막 날에는 이미 존재하고 있는 Startup 들도 발표에 참가 할 수 있습니다 (신청방법: info@tideinstitute.org로 이메일 발송). 미국 현지의 전문가와 투자자들에게 값진 피드백과 투자를 받을 수 있는 기회를 적극 활용 하시길 바랍니다. 

Startup Springboard - Silicon Valley is a two-and-a-half day event where developers, designers, and entrepreneurs come together to share ideas, form teams, build prototypes, and launch startups. Participant gain hands-on experience and find out if their startup ideas are viable. The event starts with an open pitch session on Friday in which participants inspire others to join their team. Overthe next two days the teams build minimal viable products, validate their ideas and perform customer development. On Sunday evening the teams demo their prototypes in front of a panel of experts and receive valuable feedback. 

The event is open to anyone interested in entrepreneurship. We are also holding a parallel competition on the final day in which pre-existing startups can pitch in front of the audience and panel of experts (Pre-existing startups which want to pitch can apply by sending an email to info@tideinstitute.org).
