College Applicants : Any undergraduate or graduate students enrolled in
public or private universities who are capable of writing a pure or
applied technical thesis related to engineering (No restrictions on
majors; Year of 2011 students also eligible)
Ⅱ. High School
Applicants : Any students enrolled in public or private high schools who
are capable of writing a pure or applied science thesis related to
science
Ⅲ. Any paper that has not been published before December 5, 2011.

□ Paper submission period :December 5, 2011 to December 26, 2011

 □ Oral Presentation Review : End of January , 2012

    (Applicants who passed the first round are eligible)
□ Awards Ceremony : February, 2012

6. Requirements
Ⅰ. Paper should be submitted by uploading the file on the Human-Tech homepage.
Ⅱ.
Do not submit documents by mail or in person. However, confirmation
written by the guidance professor is acceptable by mail or in
person. Confirmation should be submitted during the second review.

Ⅰ. Papers will not be returned once submitted.
Ⅱ. The author will own the copyright of the prize paper and Samsung Electronics will own only its publication rights.
Ⅲ.
If the paper is co-written, the co-author(s) also should be
(a)student(s) at the time of the submission. The award is given only to
the main author. (An adviser may not be a co-author)

※ The chance of SAMSUNG Electronics branch field trip will be given to the winners of silver prize and above.

※ Samsung
Electronics will support the academic advisor of the winners of silver
prize and above for the international conference fee for one year.
- Limit one chance per winners and also for the academic adviser.
- Conference entry fee, housing support, round trip airfare support will be given under a limit of 4,000,000won.

※ Presentation is only limited to the primary author. (Presentation cannot be performed by a co-author)

※ The first evaluation winners will go to the second evaluation which will be held in Korea.

※ Samsung
Electronics will support the award winners for the actual cost of round
trip airfare (Y-class) from his/her native country to Korea.

※ 은상이상 수상자에게는 삼성전자 해외사업장 견학기회 부여

※ 은상이상 수상자의 지도교수 대상 수상후 1년간 해외 학술대회 참가비용 지원

     - 단, 수상작당 1인 1회에 한하며, 중복 지도교수일 경우에도 1회만 지원

     - 숙박비, 왕복항공료, 학회 등록비(참가비)를 총 400만원 한도내에서 지원

  가. 1차 심사 (서면심사) : 창의성, 논리성, 실용성

  나. 2차 심사 (발표심사) : 발표력, 표현력, 질의 응답

※ 주작성자에 한해 발표 가능(공동저자 발표 불가능)

※ 서면 심사에 합격한 경우에 한해 2차 심사(발표심사)를 볼수 있으며, 한국에서 실시

※ 외국 대학 재학생의 경우 한국 왕복항공권을 실비 지원함
